    In concern to PPV numbers

    "The bottom line is we don't have enough information to estimate meaningfully, We have partial numbers, in far less than half the total market. I'm not prepared to project, all of this speculation and doom and gloom is premature. It's ridiculous. The speculation about what the ultimate number is and what the financial impact is, is completely unwarranted at this point, only a tiny handful of people within the realm of the promoter and fighter and network coterie know the true structure of the deal: "I can assure you none are writing media stories."

    He also says numbers should be released by tomorrow of Friday

    In concern to Money's next fight;

    "The obvious matchup is Mayweather-Canelo, and I believe both want the fight, though as usual we know it's not as easy as it seems to get things done. He wants to get in the ring quickly.. We should know in the next couple weeks, next two to three weeks."

    In other words the ppv flopped and needs Floyd to have a trilogy with canelo to save his job

    In this day and age, that's a bit ridiculous. Nielsen gets overnight ratings on everything. It's not too difficult for the major cable and satellite providers to turn in estimated numbers. They have a decent idea of the sales. Which were full buys, which were movie tickets, etc.

    Floyd vs. Canelo would be huge. A big boon to boxing. I really hope it gets made.

    Looks like they really need the Alvarez vs Floyd bout to be made. This might be very good for baxin'

    Mayweather never makes the fight the fans want to see. And he doesn't take risks. So you're probably right.

    There's next to no chance that Mayweather will fight Khan in September. It's not likely that he would fight Alvarez at a catchweight, although it is possible.

    Thankfully the PPV numbers are low despite how the Showtime boss is trying to spin it. This puts Floyd to have to make up for $ lost. There's no other way right now then Canelo/Mayweather.

    Canelo wants it.

    What bull**** are you chatting? Floyd was always gonna fight canelo. Floyd team offered canelo the fight last year and canelo declined, they wanted more time. Hardly sounds like floyd is scared of the ginger wolf:lol:

    So SSM wasn't a fight fans wanted to see and not a risk? ODLH wasn't a fight fans wanted to see and wasn't a risk...at 154? I mean come on breh, I'm honestly not understanding where you're coming from on this. I like you and I think you're a decent poster, I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest but this just isn't accurate.

    And for the record...Mayweather vs Khan would sell and make hella money. I'm not advocating for the fight, I'm not pushing the fight, I'm not even a huge fan of the fight, and I'm not trying to justify the fight...but make no mistake it will sell.

    PPV = major flop.
    Fight = major bore fest.

    Making Showtime in trouble over the deal.
    And they want to push for Canelo?

    Canelo or Khan.....
