I only named the fighters in the sport Floyd wont fight.

Facts are facts, Marquez, Cotto, and Mosley are names even the casuals recognize. Mayweather ppv's did well because of the name of the opponents in conjunction with his name on the billboard.

Now Showtime and Mayweather are throwing names as possible Mayweather opponents the casuals have no clue of.

Whoever is running boxing on showtime has overestimated Mayweather's worth.
Mayweather is a draw if he fights a name or a live opponent, otherwise Showtime is going to lose big paying Mayweather the ammount that was reported he'd recieve for fighting 2nd tier fighters like Guerrero, Maidana, and Peterson.
The PPV buy rate will only get worse if Mayweather continues his charade of claiming to fight the best but fights the 2nd tier.:yep

Yet they were honest about Pacquiao-Clottey's numbers when it mattered far more back when Mayweather-Pacquiao talks were on fire. If you're going to think like that, you might as well make the case that all PPV numbers you dislike aren't realistic enough.

I've been posting this video on ESB a ton, but people just ignore it.
Come on guys he litteraly said "Guerrero went to decision with Casamayor, Casamayor is like 40 years old" and that was one of the reasons he chose Guerrero.

alright avy bet then...... man up!

Rios is a garbage fighter coming off a loss to C level dude, a tough come from behind win vs the same C level dude and a 11 rounds to 1 schooling by an unknown! It's a cakewalk for Pacquaio and everyone knows it. Rios is not a champion level fighter, he's not even a true top 10 at 140. One win over Alvarado doesn't make you a threat to Pac. Guarantee this doesn't do the same PPV numbers as Mayweather vs whiny ***** ass Guerrero which was also a shitty mismatch that I called from the start. Pac will steamroll Rios in 2 rounds tops, Rios is tailor made for Pac. Smaller shittier Margarito with not as solid of a chin as Margo.

Is ESB even going to put the Avys back up? and what would we be betting on the winner of the fight or how the fight sells?

HBO confirmed those numbers. No network confirmation here. No surprise since Arum said two years ago that he wasn't going to release PPV #'s. And he's right, no network has released his numbers for fights ever since. But he does throw out whatever # he wants you to believe and then idiots run with it.

As boxing fans we need to stop paying for these **** fights. Mayweather is making big money off of us and he is not taking risky fights. Just think about it. When is the last Mayweather fought where you really thought he had a chance to lose. Until Mayweather steps up we need to do the same thing to him we did to Wlad. Get him kicked off USA TV.

im sure theyll bring the avy's back, that would suck if they don't. and since no one can be a big enough sucker to pick bumbum over any version of pac lets bet on the ppv buys. I say mayweather vs Guerrero does 200 K more.

For the record, the PPV was damn good, and the only people I've seen say otherwise are people who didn't buy it.
