Just to save ignorant Americans that think the Klitschkos are unpopular. On a worldwide scale, Mayweather is a complete nobody to the Klitschkos.

The only boxers in the entire history of boxing that have been more popular worldwide than the Klitschkos are Tyson and Ali. So please stop the stupid "Klitschkos are on the backpage of the paper" threads. The Klitschkos make every other boxer in the world seem like a no namer. The American media simply ignore the Klitschkos because they are not American and they don't fight in the United States, not because of their ability.

Thats because people who dont watch boxing and dont understand boxing watch only Klitchkos.

Heavyweights were always most popular because that is practically no limit division and the biggest and strongest fighters are there + Tyson, Ali and fighters of that caliber made it even more popular. In my country nobody even knows who is Mayweather, even if i say that he is richest sportsman on the planet. But K bros are popular because they are broadcasted on national TV..

real boxing fan will watch it, but he knows that Mares - PDL match was better then both PBF vs Ghost and Klitchko vs Pianeta together.

Ok, please look at the following stats and you can search them up on google and find all the sources I used from various websites (look for German language sources and then use google translate)

    Mariusz Wach 11/11/2012 RTL 11.77 53.7

In germany 12m people watched Wach. Now, that is just Germany alone. In Ukraine, half of the population watched the fight which means 20m viewers! Wach is from poland and I read there were monster ratings there (for every Klitschko fight there is, but especially against a pole) but I couldn't find specific numbers. If you just include all of Eastern Europe and Russia you have about at least 50m and I think alot more. Even from there, you now have to include all of the other foreign TV stations who broadcast the fight and if that number is not close to 100m (I think it far surpasses it) then you have at the very minimum (in the most pessimistic thinking style possible) 75 million people watching.

"I couldn't find specific numbers". Just include half a continent based on faith. "I think."

Typical fanboy drivel. Klit fights are streamed to most of the world, not broadcast. I don't doubt the Hasselhoff lovers watched this in droves, but 100 million is a number you pulled out of your ass and then inflated.

Who cares what people paid? Were talking about popularity.

Mayweather doesn't come close to any NFL star in terms of popularity. He makes more, but that doesn't mean anything with his popularity. Same applies to any billionaire. Most people don't know who the **** half the billionaires in the world are.

I think the Klitschkos are doing quite well financially, but I don't give a **** either.
