benn and eubank hated each other so much i honestly think they were too busy with each other for years.
eubank however didnt fight the best opponents thio which is a shame cos his weird shaped head made him unknockoutable.

nigel benn never ducked a fight and had the losses to prove it.

benn v toney wouldve been an exciting fight, with a coin toss to see who got knocked out, i think eubank would do better but still lose a decision.

id have rather seen benn eubank 3 rather than fighting anyone else tho.

nigel benn/mcclellan was the most exciting fight ive watched, so altho he may be the best, i`d rather watch him than many many others..

It is pro boxing, you fight primarly for money. Jones and Toney had a bumper pay day, with neither making super money fighting the rest of the opposition at the time.

Benn and Eubank were on excellent money for fighting fringe contenders. To fight Toney or Jones both would of wanted money that would probably would of made the fight not viable.

If Benn or Eubank had been offered £10 Million, both would of signed up, I have little doubt.

They feared Gerald McClellan, in my opinion.

The resumes of Toney, McCallum and Jones compared to Eubank in particular says it all. Benn gets credit for facing McClellan.

Benn would have no chance of knocking Toney out.

It doesn't "say it all" because that's only a reflection of how their careers played out, and Eubank made no secret of the fact that he was prepared to milk his title for all it was worth and didn't care about the quality of opposition - that he was in boxing to make money, not to make his reputation. Comparing resumes says little of the skills of the men in question, it says nothing of how their styles would match up against each other, or how they would deal mentally with the task of fighting a higher calibre of opponent, and so on.

Personally I would be prepared to back Toney, McCallum and Jones in their primes to beat Eubank and Benn in their primes but I think it a very close fought affair for Toney and McCallum, and that Jones would beat Benn easy but struggle in the early round with Eubank's odd style before running away with it in the later rounds and winning by UD

Six rounds with Benn at his most aggressive is too many rounds for Jones to escape.

Toney and McCallum would have won every minute against Nigel. Though both lose most of the first half of a fight with Eubank.

I see Eubank's short, sneak counter right being the ultimate punch to counter Jones's wide, leaping left hook..

For someone who should know better because you come to some shocking conclusions. McCallum, Toney and Roy Jones were superior talents to Benn and Eubank and frankly both Benn and Eubank know this. This is not to deny that Benn and Eubank had great talent as well but let's be realistic please.

Chris felt McCallum was an easy win in 1990, 'I'd beat him in five rounds'.
