If Floyd is down big on the cards, will he go for the KO and risk it all?

Absolutely no doubt HE WOULD, he is amazing boxer so he doesnt need to excange and people think he would not go for it, he showed against Cotto that he has no problem mixing it up, and he would not let his undefeated record go just like that he would go for it!!!

The only way I can see anybody beating FMJ is by having a higher workrate, a higher effective workrate that causes him to be too concerned with defense to mount a sustained offense.

If that happens, and he is down on the scorecards, I don't think he'd go for broke, because his ego would prevent him from realizing that he is losing.

Nah, it's really hard to go for the KO when you have hand injuries. If Floyd hurt his hand earlier in his career and never got those 21 KO's at 130 when he had 100% healthy hands, he would have had a Paulie Maliggnagi like KO ratio.

27 fights, 21 KO's at SFW. He hurt his hand in his 26th fight, against Carlos Hernandez.

17 fights above 130 and only 5 KO's, with really only 4 if you want to label the Ortiz KO a cheap shot enough to discount the KO from his record and just call it a W instead of a KO. 17 wins and 5 KO's is a legit featherfist, statistically. But we all know Floyd is not really a featherfist per se, you could tell he has respectable power. He tried to go for the KO against all three Marquez, Mosley and Guerrero but couldn't get it. I will take his word for it that he could not get it because of his injured right hand.

He doesn't even have to say, it is apparent when in those fights he hurt his hand, he basically stops using it, and when he does
use it, it's lazy and wide as if to just out it out there and keep the fighter weary of the right hand.
