Brooks WBO ranking is completley irrelivent. It was undeserved and a mandatory hasn't been called for that title since Cotto won the vacant belt v Jennings. Frank didn't call for purse bids and had no intention to which is why Brook left him. Brook still needs to build his expirence levels and Jones II & Diaz would do that.
Brook should have stayed with frank, but Jones Diaz providing it happens in the next six months would be decent. A world title or a name after that at least.
So getting diaz up to 147 is good fight ? Considering brook is a big welter , he will blow him away easy All this just to get one over khan Its a **** fight and only hardcore eddie bum lickers would like these two fights next for brook
Yes was due to challange 4 months ago against a genuine world level fighter in a big payday but got injured.
Still not seen anything about Brook/Jones 2 but hopefully Boxing News comes today. If it IS right, wins over him and Diaz will leave Kell early 2014 in exactly the same position he was in this time last year.Have people forgotten how those in the know were slagging Khan off for dropping his level of opposition and taking Diaz. Now after a good showing,he's a good 2nd opponent for Kell.Lack of imagination, poor matchmaking.Bring back Mickey Duff!
Also they were saying Diaz a blown up lightweight.Kells a big welter, they say,so why not Mike Jones{not Carson}at catchweight?Bet he'd come to Sheffield if the money was right.Failing that, see nothing wrong with the suggestion of Cintron or the lad who he fought last time out.
It would leave him in a better position to challenge for a world title. Plus this is only 2/3 fights Brook will have before the end of the year. Diaz provd himself to be a decent opponent in his fights with Khan & Porter. People were saying last week he wont fight people as good as Diaz & Jones. Now there moaning. Hearn haters will never be happy. Even say Brook should have stuck with Frank! Its ridiclious. Jones & Diaz are much better opponents than Cintron. Guarentee if Cintron was named peope, including you, would be ripping that fight apart.
who the **** said that ? jones is bad enough , sept would be perfect for senchenko you know eddie reads this forum and you are obviously kissing ass again infact lets see eddie tweet a link to this thread
In a thread where I asked how would you match Brook. I have slagge of Hearn 100 of times on this forum and i was critical of him when I spoke to him on twitter. Not sure where you get arse kissing from. The thread he retweeted had nothing to do with Hearn. If he retweets its thats great advertising for this forum. Not sure why your trying to dig me out. Have always been fair to you on here but you chose to continually slag me off at every opportunity. I think the way Hearn has handled Brook has been impressive. Theres plenty of other bad things he has done. If you chose to ignore when I mention those, so be it, but dont tru and dig me out for arse kissing because thats not the case and anybody thats seen the conversations between myself and Hearn would no its 100% not the case.
Not to me. Especially when comparing where his career would be if he stayed with Frank. Are you guessing that Frank "'had no intention" to call for purse bids? You don't think Brook would've got a shot at the WBO over the past three years if he stayed with Frank?
Realistically, Ion Don or Aydin wld be decent, followed by Senchenko. Carson Jones II also, but the Diaz bout would be lazy matchmaking.
I'm aware of that. I was asking your opinion otherwise I'd've directed the question to him. Do you think Kell Brook would have fought for a world title if he had stayed with Frank?
