Dude ****ing quit after the first clean counter landed on him, JUST as you predicted. He "Stood there with his mouth open". He got Bossed by the generalship and footwork, shook by the timing and accuracy and, was made to look like he was moving in slow motion by the speed. Thorough ass raping.
i disagree. i hate this attitude of you lost your done etc. Its bad for the sport. It should be like, who cares if he lost, rigondeux was excellent. Now lets make donaire mares.
Yup, he borders on mental midget in the ring if he can't get you hurt with his first few punches. I'm fairly confident in Mares' chance at just outboxing him. Donaire can't set up offense for ****.
Donaire will be fine. He simply doesn't excell in the role Rigo forced him into and then further discouraged him from even trying to implement.
Look at the fighters Mares has faced in his last 7 fights- I think it's quite obvious he fears no ****er
FLoyd made nearly every demand in the negotiations. But in ***** land, not accepting a demand, is apparently making a demand. For example, Floyd saying I will only fight on this date and venue. Manny questioning that and wanting to discuss venues is apparently a demand. :huh But that's all another story.
this attitude is why boxing isn't what it used to be. Too many fighters scared to lose because that's exactly what happens to them. Which is why Boxers are so carefully matched these days.
if it was a close competitive fight it would warrant a rematch.. if the division was a tad dry and donaire is the only decent fighter.. sure rematch is good BUT THERE ARE BIGGER FISH TO FRY, i highly doubt donaire has any interest in the rematch
who's asking for a rematch. I'm stating that just cos donaire lost, that doesn't mean he should have to drop down the list. I still think they should make donaire vs mares. Especially if they can't make rigondeux mares
