Cotto while popular seems to be the strong B side of a PPV event, rather than A side.

I dont believe Canelo is a PPV star.....yet, he is in a similar situation to Khan very popular but are his fans willing to shell out $50 to watch him? Probably not.....unless he is in with someone like Mayweather.

I would say if its even a PPV event it won't sell more than 700K

 

No, I don't think it would. If it did at least 750k it would be a good sign for boxing though because it means people besides Floyd/Manny can sell big. We are due for another changing of the guard similar to Oscar passing the torch to Floyd.

No Cotto is coming off of two loses. I have no idea why this fight is even being talked about. This is the fight they wanted all along though and badly wanted to make this instead of Canelo-Trout in the first place.
