He's also never taken a fight where he has been the underdog. All his 3 losses, he was a heavy favourite to win them fights.

Alexander is a good fight for him, Khan seems to box better against guys who can box, struggles against sluggers

Lots of people had him as the under dog against Maidana.

  3. He will perform better at 147 but on the down side he will face harder punchers and get stomped out

  4. damn the 147 division is up for grabs tho look at the champions alexander and malinagi if khan is matched well he might be able to conquer the division just liked he at 140 before he gets knocked out again

    "Lots of people"?

Name me one bookmakers who had Khan as underdog against Maidana

Khan has never been an underdog in any fight he has been in. He could well be in the Alexander fight though, fair play to him if he takes that fight

So getting your ass whipped by Peterson and iced by Garcia in consecutive fights, barely scraping past Julio Diaz then just beating Devon Alexander gets you a Mayweather fight these days? :-(

    Pathetic.

I'm actually not that confident that Khan can win a fight at 147 against say.. a top 15 opponent. :think

    Paulie in a rematch maybe.

Khan has a few positive attributes, and a style that may actually work well against Mayweather (for a short time). One thing that we know for sure, is that slow fighters, who rely on power, hooks, and few straight shots are generally not equipped to compete with Floyd - they would need some other superhuman physical attributes in order to leverage any kind of advantage in the ring against Floyd. Having a granite chin really isn't the key.

That said, we all know Khan's weaknesses (chin, poor boxing IQ and tendency to wade in). Unfortunately for him they are well exploited by Floyd's strengths. The sensible money would be on a Floyd getting used to Khan's speed after a couple of rounds and then finding that glass jaw with a perfect counter. But I still stand by the fact that Khan poses a more interesting proposition for Floyd than the vast majority of other top 10 fighters - there mere fact that there is an imbalance between the strengths and weaknesses of the two fighters makes it more interesting than a fight involving many of the other all round fighters (who would beat Khan) because they have no individual skill, physical trait, or aspect of styel to leverage an advantage over Floyd - in those cases we can guarantee a dull UD12 win for Mayweather.

  9. your underating khan here yes he does have a bad chin but if he sorts out his defence and his punch resistance increases once he moves to 147 then he could become a force

doesn't matter if he fights at 147 or 140, Either way, if he leaves his chin out there he will lose again.
