    Surely he knows more than me and you;

    But that was the kind of political answer you simply cannot avoid to give.

    The two shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence to be honest.

    Fair assessment by him. Ali fought all comers in his career and didn't duck anyone. Sure, he had losses where Floyd has none, but he put it all on the line many more times than Floyd will even think of. The caliber and toughness of the fighters Ali faced make Floyd's claim to "Greatest of all Time" kind of shallow and self serving.

    Did he actually say this or is the thread starter just trying to stir **** up again ?
    any source ?

    It's probable though, i think Wlodimir already said he was a big Ali fan.

    This, pretty much.

    I don't doubt it that Wlad has seen a lot of film of the past greats, but the truth is most boxers are not the most knowledgable about the historical figures of the sport (or even their contemporaries). However, I'd say most fighters seem to care more about long-past fighters than they do fighters in the current era in other divisions. They rarely watch current fights, rarely read boxing news, and tend to just know what they hear.

    Really, who wants to work their asses off everyday in the gym only to come home and read news about their sport or watch others guys working their ass off in the ring? Leave work at work like most of us in other fields try to do.

    SRR is the greatest. Klitscho needs to read a book.

    No he's not. I don't see a Foreman or a Frazier on Floyd record. But I do see a 38 year old Sugar, a part time Golden Boy. Lol!
