    This!

the only time it made sense was when he fought Baldy, before that he was signed to fight Zab. So he could have fought Margo w/ zero to offer besides 8mill (and probably a contract with TR) but instead he fought Baldy for 8mill, the lineal title and a golden ticket to fight Oscar. After the Baldy fight he said his body was breaking down and it was one more fight then he was done. So he fought Oscar on his terms and than Ricky for another truck load of money.

there is a famous video where Margocheato confronts floyd (supposedly Floyd is scared in this video . . . according to the ******s:nut) what they tend to ignore in that video is what floyd said to Margo. Floyd said keep winning (and you will get your shot). Margocheato went on to lose to Pwill.

No, Arum WOULD have made him sign a fight contract and it wasn't for the money Floyd wanted and ended up going on to get. Besides, Floyd had just gotten done buying out of his contract with Bob, so why the hell would he jump right back in with him?!:patsch

So Floyd trying to Fight Oscar (a fight everyone wants to see, and broke all ppv records) instead of Margarito equals a duck?:-(

So what do you call Floyd when he beat Shane who brutally raped Margarito who is someone that Floyd fears?

No way Floyd would've won, and funny whoever said Margarito would've ended up like Corrales. Margarito has a ****ing granite chin, he's as tough as they come. His height and swarming tactics would've cost Mayweather, who had trouble with Castillo. The video someone posted also don't lie; Mayweather was scared shitless of the giant Margo.

Enough with this swarming ****, it doesn't give Floyd problems. What Castillo did in the first fight was fight a good fight, in the second fight it didn't work. Here we are 11 years later talking about how Castillo's first fight plan is the way to beat Floyd.

    ****all.

That guy is just talking out of his ass.

Mayweather would have outboxed, outmuscled and outclassed Margarito just like those other three elite fighters did.

Margartio had to have bricks in his gloves to compete, because apparently (despite appearances) he isn't as strong of a puncher as you might think, he is essentially a stalwart punching bag. Margartio was dejected after being exposed for a cheater moments before stepping into the ring with Mosley, and Mosley fought him like he was mad that Margartio had been cheating.

Pac turned on the rockets and beat the brakes off of Margarito till the point where in the last rounds of the fight Pacman occasionally glanced to the ref expecting him to stop the fight.

Cotto: who was still shellshocked emotionally and mentally about the beating he took from Margarito the first time around outboxed Margarito beautifully, who, without his bricks, couldn't hurt Cotto; who was essentially fighting his own apprehensions in that fight.

Floyd would have taken Margarito to school, though, Im glad he didn't fight him because Margarito would have had those loaded gloves.

People who mention Castillo and swarming DKSAB and also refuse to acknowledge that Floyd's shoulder was hurt for the first fight, which should have been starkly obvious in the rematch. Castillo got beaten by a one handed Floyd Jr:patsch:patsch

Hatton is way more of a swarming than Castillo, who is more of a boxer.

Margarito is a straight puncher with no power, his risk vs reward in exchanges had to be made profitable for him, thus, the plaster of paris in his gloves.

Floyd would have been favored in every one and is the only constant.

I wish these "Mayweather ducks" people would make a comprehensive list of who he should have fought instead in his last 10 or so fights.
