According to Bob Arum, Floyd would have fought Margarito if Arum would have guaranteed Floyd 10 million to face Cotto and 10 million to face Hatton and Arum refused.

So if he was willing to fight Margo then how is that a duck? Cotto wanted no part of him and Arum didn't want that fight after what Floyd did to Gatti. People can argue all day but those are the facts. There are videos that actually back this **** up too and Arums own words. It wasn't until Floyd went off and made that money with Baldomire and Oscar that Arum started all the duck **** with Floyd.

 

Margo is tailormade for PBF. He's a slow starter has no jab has slow hands is plodding **** defense and throws wide looping shots he's a stylistic wet dream for a sharpshooter like PBF.:deal Margo is only effective in two ways one, he loads his gloves and two if you cant stand up to his attack he uses his chin and stamina to wear you down. I personally think the "retirement" thing had more to do with a lack of interesting fights than ducking. Picture this your already an undefeated 5 weight world champ in your last 3/4 fight prior to your "retirement" you fight the last 2 lineal champs at 147 the best guy at 154 and the lineal champ at 140 after that your only options are a guy who just lost to Williams and who's best win was what Cintron and another guys who's only career accomplishment at that point was winning a vacant title at 140 who coincidently duck you a year earlier.

It's not that I think there's anything wrong with what he's saying and I really get his point but the fact is he does duck fighters that he thinks bring too much risk - I don't know how can you see it any other way after watching this vid.

picture this pacquiao fought atg in barrera, morales and marquez combined 9 times and always tried to face the best challenges around and never cried when opponents were taller and stronger than him. if pacquiao had the size of floyd, he would have fought martinez and canelo @154, even middleweight a long time ago.

You know, the worst about about it is that it was never officially confirmed that he was using plaster right before the Mosley fight. Last I heard was that it was used gauze and definitely not a plaster substance that would harden as the fight went on. Also heard that the commission somehow lost his wraps. Can you please provide a link where it was proven to be plaster.
