I believe he had something in his system then, which is why he didn't take it. Hey it was his lost anyway. Since that time he has fought for less money, lost fights and got put to sleep. Right now he needs Mayweather to redeem himself. Even a win over Marquez will not do him justice. The only way Pac would be elevated over Floyd right now is by, beating Floyd himself or beating an opponent that poses a bigger risk then Floyd. That opponent would be Canelo. If Pac was to move up to 154lbs and beat Canelo, his status will elevate Floyds over night. We all know that will never happen though, so Manny only hope is Floyd himself.

there are many, many, many quotes from Pac's team; Koncz, Roach, Ariza, Arum, etc. where they directly state that Manny is afraid of needles BECAUSE he thinks that they weaken him.

It's so common knowledge I am not going to bother looking for a source.

And please tell me that I'm wrong.

 

At least if he did that could of been a logical reason for him walking away from the fight, but since he was clean, as you claim. The only other reason that make since for him walking out would be, he didn't really want the fight. Either way he ducked Floyd the first time around.
