Can some please explain what the consequences were for Pac if he would have done the testing originally. Because I could name a ton of benefits.

Doing the testing was such a no brainier in terms of benefit vs consequence that is mind boggling that he didn't agree to make the fight the first time or do any even away from Mayweather. Straight up poor advice from his team.

Dude, when Mayweather beat Corley at 140, all Emmanuel Steward was talking about is how Sharmba was the only fighter around the weight who would trouble Floyd.

Hahahahah at people who think Sharmba Mitchell is a garbage fight because he's the most recent fighter on Floyd's resume who wasn't top 3 in the division or a future HOF'er.

Forget that, I want to know the boxers that go through everyone of those fighters under the same exact circumstances and remain undefeated. That's the better question.

what do you mean he didn't want the fight??

pac agreed to have a mediator settle their difference. in mediation/negotiation, both sides move from their position and give something up to come to an agreement.

pac moved from his 30 day cut-off to 24 days. floyd didn't counter the offer.

why in the hell would floyd even agree to a mediation when he won't even put a counteroffer??

Because he already agreed to the weight punishments and glove size.

He didn't need to meet Pac half way with his demands; he agreed to Pac's demands all the way.

If that's the criteria that we define cherry picking by then every fighter cherry picks. People seem to show little regard for the business side of this game. Fact is, bad blood gets spilled and people hold grudges. My contention is that the business side of things significantly impacted who Floyd fought and didn't fight. Anyone who has been around more than the last 5 years knows that Bob, Floyd and Oscar had bad blood spilled and much of Floyd's later resume doesn't have a TR opponent on it.

both went into mediation knowing that cutoff date of blood testing was the issue. pac moved floyd should have countered. that's how mediation is supposed to work. you can't just have one side keep giving in.

You idiot, Floyd wanted no cut offs to begin with and he went and offered a 14 day cut off. Arum stated that Mayweather turned down a 30 day cut off offer but the judge came out and said Arum lied about Floyd not offering anything. :deal
