A little known fact! It was well known that Lockett was not quite comfortable yet in middlweight division, and didnt have a very good camp, so Kelly wisely avoided the rematch.. Lockett did have some titles, but couldve been THE MAN if not for cowardice

 

The mental aspect is very important, yes, but I dont think the staredown would have as much an impact on Mathysse as it did Pavlik. It would be Rockets left hook i believe that would take Lucas out
