The more I think about it the more I see Alexander being picked. He'll be due for a fight right about then and he has a title. Plus they can play the whole "All his friends is dead or in prison, boxing saved him from a life of being in GANGS!!!!" Not a threatening or physically gruelling fight, plus it isn't one that can really be promoted that hard so they can afford a short buildup. More of a tuneup/stay busy fight. Unfortunately it has potential to be the most boring fight of Mayweather's career.

If Alvarado leaves Top Rank that fight is definitely happening as it connect him with Pacquiao's name again. "I already done knocked out the dude that beat the dude that midget be fighting!"
