yes i do and will watch it my point was originally we were getting 6-8 (via red button) and then 8-11.30 sky sports 1, now we are getting 7-11.30 sky sports 1 so its actually a reduction in the amount of boxing.

Not that I'm THAT bothered about that hour just think that tweet is typical Eddie (all style no substance) to make it sound like we are gaining out of it when in fact we are losing out. If ***** did it people would be all over him

What are you talking about? EVERY fight will be shown. We have NOT lost out on any boxing, possibly less adverts and some filler or maybe Johnny stuttering.

Jose Gonzalez looks in prime condition. This is a serious fight for Ricky. Gonzalez's team fancy their chances to. I think quietly they know how good Gonzalez is. Ricky looks a bit dry but he is a good boxer also, so it should make for a good fight Saturday night.

well we have really as it was originally planned for a 6pm start its now a 7pm start due to the card being pretty small for an arena show, as I'm sure the plan was to start with a live fight around 6.10pm

I'm not moaning at all I'm not that bothered just find it funny the tweet 'great news' etc makes it sound like we are gaining something where even you will agree we are not even if you dont think we are losing anything.

 

The card has only 7 fights on it, they paid through the roof for the main event so it didn't go to purse bids to make sure the fight got made and that certain people couldn't put in a false bid out of spite. The full card is on TV and normally events that come on at 8 end between 10:30 and 11, not run till 11:30 so technically all round we may have lost 30 mins of boxing which will have been some 5-0 prospect against a 5-19 Journeymen

 

I agree we've lost hardly anything and I'm not fussed but my point was the tweet made it sound like theyd extended the coverage when in reality theyd shortened it

 

I agree, but it's classic spin that everybody uses, casuals are far more likely to come across it though

 

Ricky made the weight with ease mate, I'm glad they feel confident so do we but reality will kick in when there in the ring
