    it was about time..
HW is weak compared to former eras but in todays boxing the HW is one of the best divisions
Martinez nearly got KO'd by a featherfisted middleweight version of Wach..
Donaire exposed as a fraud by Rigo, outgunned by skilless 1-2 robot Mathebula..
someone like Haye or Vitali would absolutly smash these guys if they were fighting at their weight. just like Adamek or Thompson would crush the Guerreros and Trouts of the world
and if Wlad wasn't a big powerful but mobile and fast heavyweight but a Tommy Hearns type built real welterweight, he'd also blow away all these old blown up midgets that run that welter division today..

The Ring finally did something right. Broner jumping ahead of him in the past list was absurd.

Broner was ahead of Wlad!?! I didn't catch that if it did happen - in which case that is complete madness. The Ring has lost all credibility. What's Broner doing on the list right now anyway? He's not proven his place yet.

Where is Froch?! Yeah, he might not be the greatest fighter on the planet, but resume has to count for something - and beating Bute, Johnson, Abraham, Dirrell, Taylor and Pascal is way way better than Broner's resume right now. Even with the dodgy Dirrell decision removed (partly balanced out by the debatable Kessler decision though). Madness.

It's an atrocious list. Roman Gonzalez still can't get a mention, despite deserving to be higher than Alvarez, Broner and Wlad. It's too awful to really pay attention to. How beating fighters like Pianeta and Wach can make someones ranking rise is beyond me.

Well this list is better than the last, but they still need to switch Alvarez and Broner out for Froch and Rigondeaux.

He deserved it more right after the Haye fight. Or after the Watch fight.
Anyway, i get mad every time i see his brother ranked higher than him on boxrec... a joke.

I understand what you mean, but the p4p concept is NOT, who is stronger than who, or it would just be the top 10 heavyweights list......
Anyway Wlad fully deserved to be ranked, he has beaten clearly a lot of good fighters as big as him.

On what basis? I see no way he sould be #1 with the quality of fights he is having. BTW TKO6 get over it already. Lewis beat Vitali fair and square.

I rank Vitali ahead of WLad. Ask Wlad himself he will tell you Vitali is better. Vitali to the harder fights. Vitali has never even been down while Wlad was put on his ass 11 times. Vitali fights every round while Wlad jabs and grabs to avoid getting hit. Vitali to Lewis and Sanaders best shots without going down While Sanders put Wlad down everytime he hit him. Vitali is the better fight over all. Wlad may hit harder but his chin is pure ****.

I laugh every time I see Broner in there. It really discredits the whole damn list.

no i meant based on skills.. no question that in the real world, Wlad is the best fighter on the planet by a long shot anyways
just look at that Alvarez vs Trout fight, it was embarrassing to watch that fools exchanging pitty pat slaps.. it was like watching a female fight. skill wise these guys are on level with the Manuel Charrs or the Pianetas of the world and would get smoked by lets say Chagaevs left hand alone.
I have not been following Conelo much, i've seen him galloping around the ring against Mosley and that fight with Alfonso Gomez, i mean that guys supposed to be the next big thing in boxing but hes completely useless, far worse than most heayweight contenders by any sorts of the imagination.
I have no issue giving the Floyds the Mannys, Ward, Froch, Mares, Rigo etc extra credit. these guys would mostly be champion regardless in which weight category they'd fit in.
Broner at least throws punches like a man and at least it was fun when he got clocked by that eurobum he fought recently and couldn't do **** about it but smile like a complete ******
all i'm saying is that the Vitalis the David Hayes the Thompsons, Pulevs and several other are by far better contenders than those we've got in the most other weight categories in boxing today and that skill level in the hw division is ridiculously underrated compared to other divisions. all time its a different story indeed

Broner premiered at an absurd #5 last fall...

  13. Lennox Lewis is 11-0 against guys 6'4+

You said Lewis fought and beat guys considerably shorter than the guys Wlad beat.

    Lewis is 11-0..
That means 23% of his fights were against guys 6'4+ and he won them all. Most by KO.

Now I demand you list 11 fighters Wlad beat that is 6'7+.
Since you said considerably taller.. So have to be 6'7

Of course if you can't do that. Just list me 11 fighters Wlad beat that's 6'4+ and let's compare the quality.
