Not sure you understand what you are watching. The fight did the opposite... The dumbest thing the Wlad haters spewed was knocking Wlad's athleticism.
How frustrating is it watching wlad?, at times he had haye on the ropes and all he would do is paw out a jab and a half hearted right hand, no hook no uppercut no combos.. What a load of ****..If the iggy fight didnt put the US audience off then this certainly put the final nail in the coffin. Concidering haye was injured ,stood in front of wald and marked his boat race up i think he did rather well..
Wlad showed he has no variety and get confused and runs out of ideas when confronted with a bit of basic head movement. Plus Wlad cannot fight on the inside what so ever. He is not that skilled.
Against Wach, Wlad had him on the ropes, Wach was not moving at all (he Wwas literally stood still) and was throwing noting back. So what did wlad do? Poured out a couple of jabs and then hugged Wach so the ref would bring him away from the ropes
Ah i must of fell asleep and missed that bit.. as often happens when i watch his fights.. What about the mormeck fight , unbelievable, the amount of dry humping wlad did in the first 2 rounds i honestly thought he wanted to **** mormeck.. If there was no ref im almost certain mormeck was getting bummed..
The whole overdrawn trash talk completely ruined this fight. I understand why Haye spoke all that crap and he did create one of the most anticipated fights in the past 10 years. But you could clearly tell that both of them had the fear of losing ingrained into them far more than the determination to win. This should not of been a cagey affair and the onus was always going to fall on Haye to make it an exciting match up. I would love to see a rematch in the hope that we get a classic (but maybe short) fight that we was all waiting for.
Wlad went 12 rounds with a blown up cruiserweight who was stopped by a cruiserweight. I don't care what Haye weighed for the bout he isn't a natural heavyweight and only got the fight because of his mouth. Then both just stood their like pussies instead of trying to go for the big punch. But Wlad could beat Foreman, Bowe, or Lewis? Only if Bowe, Foreman, and Lewis were in their 90s. He could never beat a prime version of any fighter and the funny thing the Foreman who was 48 that fought Briggs would beat this Wlad.
What a farce. The highlights of this night were the ring walks and Buffer. Everything after that was utter garbage. Wlad refusing to engage a much smaller fighter. Haye flopping around like a fish out of water. People wonder why Wlad's fights aren't televised in the US anymore. Look at this garbage fight for your answer.
Odd that HBO said they will televise Wlad vs Povetkin and Jennings. Haye has been banned from HBO and Germany.
Maybe its the difference between a "story of the fight video" and a "highlights video" But you are right, from this you'd think it was very very close Most rounds were close but clear enough to see Wlad was winning them as i remember it. Maybe Haye just had more "highlights"?? You should show the point deduction, the "Knock down" and the unanswered Wlad jabs if you wanted to tell the whole "story of the fight" Would also be good to know which round each clip was taken from in the bottom corner, it might make more sense then and some slow mo of the few clean shots.
