Actually, David Price is still the goods. Only an idiot would think otherwise. He was totally schooling Thompson, then made one mistake, (Stopping to admire his work for a second) and unfortunately Thompson's blow landed on his ear & punctured his eardrum. You know this, of course, and yet suddenly David Price is a bum? Only on ESB.
:roflatsch Price is a Glass Jawed Muppet. He is awful. He was KOed by a slap. You can go on and on about your bull**** busted ear drum excuse it means nothing. Corrie Sanders had a busted eardrum against Vitali and fought on like a Warrior. He was never dropped. There are tons of other examples. You need some medicine if you believe anything of what you just typed. :rofl
I see now the Chisora v Wilder is now made and signed! June 15th Wembley England!! Good step up for Wilder...can Chisora take him into deep water or will he suffer the same fate as Audley and many others before him? Well...we're going to see! http://www.eastsideboxing.com/2013/...sora-on-june-15th-at-wembley-arena-in-london/ http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/off...ce-dereck-chisora-june-15th-at-wembley-195417
i agree. Price has the ability, but not the punch resistance to go as far as he would like. and i don't think his ear drum was burst either. in the interview afterwards he seemed fine. didn't say anything about feeling off balance or anything. you'd know if it was gone.
Of course he did. He said as clearly as can be, in a post-fight interview, that he felt the fluid come out & it's the only reason he went down. - as did his trainer, AS DID THE HOSPITAL REPORT. If you're going to start listening to Rico & Zakman, you're in big trouble. Holy cow ....
Wait, Deontay is stepping up? Where is "Absolutely!" and other subscribers of the "cash-in" theory? The cash-in theory goes as follows: Deontay's handlers know that he is so poor a fighter that he be brutally KO'ed even by a fringe contender. So they would feed him absolute no-hopers until eventually "cashing in" on a Klitschko fight. The cash-in theory is obviously wrong.
he didn't mention it in the interview a few minutes after the fight at ringside? i watched it live. then double checked because of people claiming the burst ear drum. he said that he got caught and that it happens in the heavyweight division so will go back to the drawing board and try to fix the mistakes. can you prove Price said this? and how long after the fight did he say this?
I don't need to prove it. I know I heard it, and also from his trainer, and it's all over the internet. Here are 2 such links that took all of 10 seconds to Google: http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/8978556/tony-thompson-stops-david-price-via-one-punch-ko http://sport.topnewstoday.org/sport/article/4756896/
Boring. Another ko for deontay The last time i saw a guy with that amazing talent who deontay has, was in 2003, when vitali destroyed the old lennox lewis until the fight stop because of cut. But in that moment i said "hey, something's going here". "who's this guy?". I said the same thing when deontay knocked audley harrison. Speed, skill, height, knockout power. Wow. I saw the future in 2003. And i saw again in 2013.
Haye knocked Chisora out, Fury outboxed him, Vitali beat Chisora with only one arm, and won every round!!!!!!! Helenius had only one arm, made Chisora look better than he really is. However, Chisora is not a woman, so Wilder could have some problems. Wilder should fight Jennings, Scott, Boytsov, even Hughie Fury with only 2 fights would knock Wilder out.
Good fight, hopefully this, coupled with the retirement of Audley will get Wilder known in the UK and entice that big clumsy ***** Fury to stop ducking. David Price beats Thompson in a rematch......I think there's a higher likelyhood of Price accepting a Wilder fight than Fury but if Wilder whups the british trio of Audley/Price/Chisora he's done more than enough to earn a fight with Fury and then we can truly call duck if Fury still avoids.
he must of said it in the post fight conference later that night. he never mentioned it in the interview straight after the fight.
