Mayweather vs Lopez in September! DC media day rumor!

    Ok so DC has been on fire the last few days. A lot of boxers came to town: sparring, trash talking and just kicking it. And DC boxing gyms are in the hood so there's no Hollywood **** going on. All is welcome minus cameras and ****

    Well anyway here's the top rumors from camps associated with DC's small knit boxing community. These are the rumors that have legs.

    # 1: Mayweather is set to fight Lopez in Sept if Lopez handles his business in June.

    # 2: Golden Boy has told Canelo, that even if he doesn't fight on the same card as Floyd, he will still be co- main event on PPV :rofl

    # 3: The Peterson camp says they had talks to get Floyd early on 2014 if they handle Matty. ( for that reason I got Peterson winning by SD)

    # 4: Broner and Peterson had an epic sparring session. Heard it was good work and both went in! ( this not really a rumor, but they like to keep this **** quit!)

    # 5: Big Russell (Gary's dad) and company want to expose Mares. They think he's to wide, and can be landed on.

    # 5 1/2: Haymon seeks to use Mares to make Russell a star. Golden boy wants a comment with Russell who's a free agent before they make fight!


    # 6: Al Haymon squashed fake beef between Russell and Broner

    How the hell would Lopez even be a viable opponent? He didn't even challenge Alvarez in that joke of a fight.

    He arguably beat Jessie Vargas, destroyed Ortiz and is going to dismantle Maidana who has also beat Ortiz and went to war with Khan. I knew the winner of this fight would be considered but i dont think he'll land the fight in September.

    I could see them trying to sell Lopez actually.

    Peterson is also an interesting name but I don't think he'd sell.

    I agree it's not a good fight, buttttttt to be fair Canelo was big as ****. It's not like he lost based on skills. Oscar should of never made that fight!

    And why would Mares fight Russell? Nobody knows who he is and he has fought nobody. Mares is top 10 p4p and worked his way up from the bottom.

    Mayweather vs Lopez sucks. Fight the guy who destroyed Lopez, Canelo Alvarez.

    Any way, most of this sounds false.

    I disagree with how you view it. If I'm Mares I would love to knockout and young prospect who will go on to do at min good things.


    Think Peterson vs Bradley, the more Peterson comes of age the better Bradley looks on his resume!
