You say body punching but Matthysse is probably the best body puncher in the game.

  5. Yes, it's exactly like that because Margarito knocked down every single fighter he fought, so it's exactly like that.

I dont doubt Peterson may get knocked down but get ready to learn something about boxing. Once Peterson takes that right hand away from Matthysse, hes gonna light him up with left hooks.

  8. He is going momentum and hunger from Holt who is not that good? Really great analyzing, you really know boxing, I can tell.

  9. Not almost, he has knocked down every opponent

  10. Get ready to learn something about boxing when you find out you over estimated Peterson's skill level. Peterson does not box as well as Judah or Alexander, and he likes to come forward. He is almost taylor made for Mathysse. Mathysse has an iron chin and hits harder than anyone in the division. Peterson does not hit that hard, that's why He never hurt Khan over the whole fight, but Garcia and even Diaz hurt him. Peterson has been knocked down and hurt in fights, wait until he tastes Mathysse punches. Peterson is more of a brawler than a boxer, but guys like Genaro G seem think that Peterson will turn into a great boxer suddenly. And take away the right? Haha. Maybe if it was in his skill set.

Ultimately I don't think Peterson has the defense on the back foot to dodge Mathysse's punches, and Mathysse isn't wide open to counter coming forward. He's actually quite good at minimizing his damage as he comes forward, and he's the tighter inside fighter. Peterson seems strong so it will be interesting to see if he can push Lucas back but I doubt it. If he tries to slug it out on the inside he'll get caught with something, and on the back-foot he won't be able to deter Mathysse. Circling while throwing quick combinations to the body first, then head, is his best bet. But Mathysse will catch him pulling out, probably over that lazy jab he kept paying for against Holt.

Soto's strength is fighting chest-to-chest and he barely hit Mathysse flush.

Peterson also has become a beast on here since beating Holt.

    Exactly.

Peterson is a pressure fighter fighting another pressure fighter with greater power and probably greater chin. It should suit Matthyese to have a guy coming at him, he had some trouble against slick movers like Judah and Alexander. Peterson isn't suddenly going to turn into a slick boxer for this fight
