Seriously, how can you rank a guy with 10 wins over MARES?

Impossible.... What a little beast, can fight any style, has the intelligence to adjust his style and is good at everything. This dude actually improves his craft and is a student of the game, unlike nonito who is Power Hungry. Mares is a true Elite.

P4P is called P4P for a reason. P4P Rigo does not rank higher to Mares... 1 great win does not negate a resume of excellence and top opposition in 3 weight CLASSES!

He is the Ward of the smaller weights.

Wins Tournament, Avenges controversial tournament win in Boxing master piece. Becomes the man at 118

Belt @ 122 and @126 with great performances over legit competion top opposition where he was the under dog and surprised a lot of people with his abilities.

Dude beat PDL better the GAMBOA! better then Broner. A small little 118 pounder like mares, skills pays the bills!

MARES is HOF bound and ATG Bound if he keeps it up...

No one comes close to his resume except maybe ward...

    Mayweather
    JMM
    WARD
    MARES
    Martinez
    Klitko
    Rigondeaux
    Donaire
    Bradley
    Broner
    Alvarez

come on now.. some of these p4p 10 lists having mares in the end of the top 10 and behind rigo are some serious noobies.

Arguably lost to Darchynian and Moreno :deal
Never beat a top 5 contender at 122 and only won a vacant belt :deal
Beat the living **** out of Ponce :deal

Meanwhile Ringodeaux schooled and humiliated a top 5 p4p fighter.

Donaire, who is/was considered a better, more accomplished fighter than Mares, was beaten easily by Rigo and the fact that he only has 10 fights makes it an even greater victory. It was like shutting out Floyd for the smaller weights.
Sorry doc, Rigo > Mares. But it's close.

It's been cut close (and ugly) sometimes, but he's always found a way to get the job done. Morel is probably the easiest go he's had the last couple years in terms of opposition and even that's solid.

That said, I do rate Rigo ahead by one spot based on the Donaire win and the ridiculous skillset he possesses. I actually put him in front of Marquez for a minute for being so hyped off what he did to Donaire  but have recanted. Martinez just looked terrible, Mares just beat another tough opponent moving to 126.

    1-Money
    2-SOG
    3-Dinamita
    4-El Chacal
    5-Mares

I'm a fan, though. There's no reason for him to be excluded from anyone's Top 10 however.

Rigo's win over Donaire is 10x better than anything on Mares' resume.

You are also a notorious Mexitard.

But it´s just one win. I thought Moreno was a top 10 P4P and Marez managed to squeez out a W. Add to that a few other W´s that he has collected in recent years and you can´t really have those two a spot or two apart from eachother.

Mares is one of the best, but not better than Rigo. Lets make it happen.

Well, Donaire is the best win either of the two have on their resumes by far. So it's a question of depth VS height.
