Is the Carson Jones rematch actually confirmed?

If not, Eddie please don't make this fight, nobody wants to see it.

My feelings exactly.I don't know where people get their info from.Just got in,so haven't checked yet,but as I said, after scanning briefly through boxing news at tea time yesterday couldn't see anything. Also, when a boxers got one coming up,its in Boxrec.Saw nothing. Not keen on a Diaz match either.

Jones is the best fight we can hope for on that show for Brook it seems, like he says better then some unknown. The fight was decent last time and I would hope Brook does a job on him to show he has improved. It`s an interesting fight I dont` understand the negativity for this fight at this time after so long out and the fact that Brook struggled in the second half of the first fight.I know it`s a sideways step, but it`s only to be expected after the injury, hope he headlines in Sheffield in September in a bigger fight though

For a 10 round warm up fight Jones II is pretty good.

Personally think its a great fight to get back into it. A comprehensive defeat of Jones will show how much hes come on in the last year and get him bang up for a world title shot or a huge fight against one of the more dangerous contenders to really put himself in the spotlight..

I wouldn't mind seeing the rematch, if Brook wins impressively it shows he s improved since the first fight which was real close.. If he hasn't he'd have little chance against Alexander..

Brooke needs to fight other contenders at the moment not guys on their way out or blown up lightweights. Id personally like to see him against the likes of Keith Thurman/Jessie Vargas callibre of guys. That's the sort of competitive fights he needs to go for.

Jones is a very solid comeback fight for a 10 rounder, but Diaz just doesn't do anything really, yes he hit Khan with a few big shots but realistically he wasn't having much success apart from Khan letting him. Brook need a top 10 guy in September

There really is only a few guy out there. I think it's great to see so many fights planned. This division is getting it on!

    Floyd Mayweather Jr
    Juan Manuel Marquez -fighting Tim
    Timothy Bradley -fighting JMM
    Manny Pacquiao -fighting Rios
Devon Alexander - now fighting Purdy
Robert Guerrero - licking his wounds
    Kell Brook
Chris van Heerden -Available. Never left SA and being built
Luis Carlos Abregu -Available (he just fought though on Sergio undercard though)
    Andre Berto -fighting Karass
    Keith Thurman -fighting Chaves
    Josesito Lopez -fighting Maidana
    Leonard Bundu -Available
Ruslan Provodnikov -looking for a big fight following Bradley War. Big fight not Brook Fight
Jessie Vargas -Top Rank still building him.
    Marcos Rene Maidana -fighting Lopez
Randall Bailey -title fight in the toilet if he lands da bomb
Mike Jones -In hiding since he ate da bomb
Kevin Bizier -Available. Never left Quebec and still stepping up.
    Paul Malignaggi -fighting Broner
Victor Ortiz -Available but doubt GBP will want to plan a fight with Brook again.

    Provodnikov
    Senchenko
    Bundu
    Abregu
    Vargas

Those are the guys they should be looking at for Kell, get him on the undercard of a decent bill in the states, build some confidence and get people talking about him.

    Fighting Carson Jones in Hull

Yeah I'm sure those guys and their promoters are making a fight with Kell Brook in Sheffield their No.1 priority.

"Eddie, it's Bob. I don't want Vargas to fight Alvarado or another fight I can make dead easy for good money. I want to take him to Sheffield to fight Kell Brook"
