Come on man. Of course Khan doesn't deserve a shot at Mayweather. He almost got stopped by Julio Diaz.

 

Overall khan has done enough imo.

But saying he doesn't deserve it is pretty stupid. HE helt two of the three belts that mattered at 140 at one point. Ortiz had less than that when fighting Mayweather. Personally I thought this should have happened much sooner.

As far as promotion is concerned, this fight, with pounds, is right up there with Canelo considering pesos. Floyd should take an easy fight like this.

 

Of course he deserves a mayweather fight. He is damaged goods and got KO'd multiple times already. And Maidana would have won had Khan not been allowed to cheat and push.

Khan cant even decisively beat shot old ass fighters such as Diaz... has lost every major step up fight....

But I guess that is what qualifies you to get a shot right....

They should make him fight Guerrero first.

I think the term "earned a shot" when spoken in relation to Floyd Mayweather has been replaced by "carefully selected".

The money these guys are getting to fight Mayweather is life changing sums of money, Mayweather himself is earning incredible amounts of money for fighting lesser opponents.

Therefore why change the formula (his eyes not mine).

If he beats a top guy at 147 then yeah, don't see the issue ? Not until he proves himself at 147 though.

 

Uh, no, Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, and Judah were all wins he got near the elite level of the division.

Recently he's taken too much of a step back but to say he lost every major step up fight is simply incorrect.

Maidana is a solid win, Judah decent.. But whats he done since? lost to Peterson, knocked the **** out by Garcia, fought a blown up light weight in his come back and got rocked dropped and struggled with a well aged Diaz and that means he deserves a shot?
