Please just stop, Ray Robinson was a legend in the golden era of boxing, the era in which Floyd competed/competes at can't compare.

If you want to slice it like that, then I'm sure we can all agree fighters like Carmen Basilio, Jake LaMotta and Gene Fullmer all exceeds Jose Luis Castillo.

But with all that said, Floyd is the best of his era, SRR just happened to be the very best in a legendary era of boxing, today is far from a legendary era.

there's a lot of greats that would disagree with Malignaggi. even Mayweather Sr. said there were better fighters back in the days of Robinson and Louis.

SRR, SRL, Duran, Hearns all whoop Void.. Easily too! Easy work.. They wouldn't even be fights. They'd be 1 sided ass whoopings! They all take a piece of his ass.. Floyd has fought weak fighters... And he fought them when they were old, shot.. It's a joke man! When Floyd did fight a good prime fighter he went 1-1 with him! :deal

Biggest hype job at the elite level in Boxing history! Void runs and uses defense.. He's boring and over-rated! A Prime Pac whoops that ass too..

Not really, the most important factor in these type of mythical match-ups is what point they are in their career. Money peaked between 130-140 and plateaued until he until 147 and now he is on a decline. SRL and SRR where at their peak at 147 technically they are the same weight at 147 (they may have had bigger frames but that doesn't not matter when talking about weightclasses)

the same as if you talked about SRL and Hearns in comparison to Charles in an earlier thread both of those guys where will past their best when they reached or were close to that weight

 you're funny man. SRL has a competitive fight with Floyd Sr before he stops him, but he would completely blow through Floyd Jr.

Your underestimating SRL.. He probably didn't prepare like he should of! If Floyd Jr was in his Era he would of trained like a beast for him. He would of gave Floyd the Duran 2 treatment! :good

You don't think Floyd could have at least had as much success as Benetiz had (which wasn't much)

SRR is the best ever! He fought once every 3 or 4 weeks.. Imagine if he had the advantages star fighters have today?

If they were the same size I would agree with The Magic Man. Robinson has a habit of giving up his height. This can play in to Mayweather's hands. Paulie seemes to think Mayweather can force Robinson into doing so.
