Wow that 7th clearly took more out of Gonzalez than it did Burns, Judging by his record he just isn't used to guys taking his best shots and coming back at him.

 

Well Done Gonzalez that was a class display, Shame he went out like that but he's proven world class ability. Rick got a touch there TBH i think Gonzalez spunked his lot on that 7th round brawl.

Ricky forced the fight. Didn't look good at all IMO.

At the end it was a too big step up from the bums he fought to Burns. Yet Gonzalez looked much better than Burns tonight. Strange victory for Burns. Good decision not to fight Broner.

Burns couldn't even land on him in rds 8 and 9.

Has to be a broken hand from Gonzalez but still showed no heart as he could have lasted the distance if he really dug deep.

Not sure what the Sky knobends were jerking on Burns for. Ricky looked very very limited tonight, he was outclassed.

The end was just bizarre, I mean I'd understand if he was getting beat, but he was up, he could have just ran around.

I'd say he hand was ****ed though because he barely threw in the last 2 rounds.

Gonzo was up like 5 rounds, yeah he was gassed but it's not like he was getting killed, could have ran away without getting hurt for the rest of the fight.
Now he is back in his country and nobody will risk giving him another shot cuz they saw how good he is if he works on his cardio.
