Obviously it's very important to have stamina and heart, however what i meant by lucky is he won the fight with those attributes, however Gonzalez is clearly the better overall fighter due to the fact that for the first 7 rounds he was giving Burns a boxing lesson.

I really enjoyed watching Gonzalez hope he gets another decent fight. I can't see people being in a rush to fight him mind.

It was a definitely a genuine injury. Gonzalez completely stopped using the jab.

He looked tired but he wasn't really getting beaten up. Why don't we believe that he broke his hand or wrist?

  5. But Hearn is a disgrace for coming in like a little fairy

People need to stop talking about a rematch. Gonzalez needs to go prove himself against real contenders. You can't quit and get a rematch based on how the fight was going.

Duran Leonard II was still competative on paper. Even Tszyu Hatton was still live. Quitting doesn't get you an immediate rematch.

Broken hand is easier to fight with than a broken wrist.

Shitbag. Sorry. But no place in our sport for cowards. 7 rounds to 2 in a world title fight & quit on the stool?!

I would say the opposite, it gave him more experience of Broner's style than anything else - Broner has not been tested either.....

Billy Nelson deserved lots of credit for getting Burns into such great condition, Burns looked so strong and fresh right until the end. Top corner work, good calm advice.
