Yeah Gonzalez could have jabbed himself to victory if he had the heart. Pretty crazy to see him quit like that when he was not far from a world title around his waist. I know its easier said than done, but a lot of boxers have fought on with broken hands.

Credit to Burns for hanging in there though.

Even when Burn's was on top after the 7th, his work was largely ineffectual and lacking in quality.

    RTD9 like Vitali vs Byrd.

    Although different circumstances haha.

Man, Gonzalez is so absurdly skilled. But his heart...............

    ****ing guy man.

You have to seriously question Gonzalez heart.

As long as he didnt get KO'd he was winning the fight.

Looked like a good fighter though.

7 rounds to 0 for Gonzalez before he quit? Sounds like a schooling to me. Think you a lesson or two in Boxing.

Props to Burns. Why are we discounting him? He was the one who hung in and fought it out. Not his fault Chelo doesnt have his heart and was about to be stopped.

You can have everything going for yourself but with no heart you aren't a champion.

Burns was taking over and Gonzalez didn't want to suffer the ignominy of being punched senseless.
Keep on hating boys, the Rickster just keeps on proving you ****s wrong,Burns TKO 10.
No wonder that **** Broner ran up two divisions.

Look at all the Burns fanboys overjoyed that the carpet bombing missed their house.

Ricky's got some heart, but infinitely more luck. That injury and Gonzalez staying on his stool was his only way of victory after getting his ass introduced to Sweet Science. He didn't even land anything of note in the last 2 rounds, and somehow he EARNED the victory? Gonzalez should've just jabbed around to see the final bell. He was well ahead.
