Gonzalez blew it, no way in hell does Burns have anything to gain by giving him a rematch.

Well done, you quit and donated your big chance.

    Exactly.

    british dick-riding at it's finest.

They didn't even interview Gonzalez after the fight. It's obvious why.

This is unfortunately true. No way he'll ever consider a rematch, I know I wouldn't.

Some of these vulgar nincompoops are and an absolute disgrace to esb 46, its our job to thrash these shemale deepthroaters within an inch of their meaningless lives, peppering their chops with a flurry of crisp lightening punches until their lungs are full to the brim with fartsmoke :deal

Twerps like BigBoner and McSquinty are good reasons why Team Elite are more vital now than ever. We are here to rid these boards of the infestation of bumsteaks, pea-brained berks, and boz eyed tranny queens.

    That is our duty, HEAD'.:deal

    YDKSAB.

Gonzalez wasn't gasping for air, nor was he holding his arms low. - One of those two things always happens when a fighter gasses.

    Pay more attention next time.

    This.

Gonzalez was blocking 90% of those shots, even after his injury. He wasn't even slightly hurt. Saying that Burns "broke his heart" is beyond absurd.

What IS true is that Gonzalez should have tried to "just survive" for the last 2 rounds, even with the pain. - Then again, we don't know just how hurt he was, so no one can second-guess him yet. It looked like he hurt his left, not his right, and it's pretty hard to jab under such conditions.

I remember Tommy Hearns schooling Barkley, but even though The Blade sparkled Tommy we all know Tommy really won.
I remember Ray Leonard being well behind and coming back to stop Tommy, but we all know Tommy really won...

Froch-Taylor? Why should it matter that Carl came form behind to win. It's not like stopping the guy really counts.:patsch

Ricky was poor tonight, but he was coming on strong and Gonzales must've known trouble was ahead.

But I keep forgetting, because it's Ricky Burns it doesn't count even if he did make the guy quit.
The guy has three rounds and if he wins one he gets the title. It's clear he quit because Hearn paid him off and not because Ricky was coming on very strong while Gonzo's hand got worse.

I mean that must've been worth 10 pesos at least.
