Not fixed, just gassed and had a hurt wrist and no will to try and fight through it. He knew it was turning so he quit rather than fight through the bad times.

Did they say which hand he injured? Because Cableaddict in another thread made a good point about him possibly injuring his left hand - which would have been very important in jabbing and blocking for the remainder of the fight while he tried to coast. Without the ability to block/parry properly and keeping Burns at bay, as well as being incredibly tired, he may have felt he was in no state to bother continuing. I don't know.
