I like Burns but around HALF his opponents have had losing records. If you watch some Gonzalez fights, he has a very problematic style. I can see him countering the hell out of Burns and neutralizing the jab. Burns' body is right there to be hit as well... This fight could be very interesting. :bbb [yt]uSuR42s3Sb0[/yt]
I m so beyond pissed off. Between the McDonnell robbery and this bull**** I just lost my entire pot lol.
Watched the entire rest of the broadcast to see if they'd mention a rematch... Of course not. Apparently by getting the **** beaten out of him so bad that the other guy broke his wrist off his face, Burns proved what a great champion he is.
Why would they mention a rematch? Gonzalez is definitely a dangerous fighter, and the manner in which he quit was disgraceful, so do people really want to see him in there again after quitting like that? Gonzalez has some rebuilding to do, and Burns isnt all that..
He doesn't deserve no ****ing rematch. He was the challenger, he was winning and he QUIT, **** his rematch. He blew his big opportunity, that's his problem.
Gonzalez doesn't deserve rematch. He was winning and at that point on his way to be a worldchamp but then retired on his stool like a *****
Something about Burns suggests to me that he's the kind of guy that would WANT to get back in there with the guy and set things straight. He got completely exposed and lost a ton of credibility tonight. His people might not want it, but I think Burns does/should.
Burns is now thinking "Thank **** I never got in there with Broner or Vazquez...and keep me away from Abril as well"
He might have been winning but there were 3 rounds to go and he was slowing up BIG time, his legs were leaving him. Burns was coming on more, I think if he hadn't have quit he'd have been lucky to make it to the bell.
