And yes, Weidman is a live dog, full of confidence and a bad style matchup for Anderson. He is a real threat to take the title, and I hope Anderson can turn him away because I suspect that'll turn out to be one of the better wins on his resume. :hat
:think In that case, do you just check the forum every 15 minutes, 24/7, to see if I have posted anything so that you can quote it and attach a to it? Seems like it. :thumbsup :hat

Oh ***gis. I'm sorry, I mistook your not knowing jack **** about MMA for racism. Sorry bruh! :!: And.. F's sake, Weidman? How am I not supposed to think it's a pick based on race? Have you ever seen Weidman fight? Every strike he has designed for phonebooth fighting, and his takedowns aren't quite on the level they need to be for Silva, he's strong inside but how does he get Silva to fight with him inside? LOL.. He's going to get dessicated from the outside.
Haggis I would bet most people support the fighter who is their race/ethnic group....Im not sure how its racist, or why white people are put on pedestal over it..Whats the chances of a black dude in America supporting weidman over anderson silva anyway.. Lombard is Cuban i dont see him as an aussie frankly.. @ KOA What are you ?
What's weird is how many white people think Weidman is a good style matchup. I'm like wtf? Weidman and Sonnen are like expensive sandwitches to white folks. My nationality is American, my ethnicity is mixed but raised in a Mexican household. If you look, you will see I voted Fedor vs. Cain before I posted this lol. Fan of both guys. Not going to toot my horn too much but I'm not too bad at calling the big fights.
I dont think too many people (white people) really gave sonnen much of chance anyway.....Im not sure what you mean by expensive sandwiches friend beans boy :blood Why isnt weidman a good matchup :bbb
So you want to go there with me? Are you some kind of literalist, are you orthodox about language? I guess I couldn't say Silva will dissect Weidman from the outside, because he doesn't have a scalpel or sharp tool to dismember him either? Or, I couldn't say Weidman is going to get smoked, because there is no meat smoker in the Octagon, and perhaps Anderson doesn't smoke.. Really dude? So, when I say Weidman is going to be dessicated from the outside, it's because he's going to wither away and dry out on the outside. Anderson will keep him on the end of his strikes and look for angles of attack. Weidman is going to wilt (yes, kinda like a plant) and lose. :!: Yes, dessicate is probably a weird word to use metaphorically, but it's not improper to use.
Quintessential white person stuff. http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008/02/11/63-expensive-sandwiches/ :!: Weidman is great in a phone booth. He has great, incredible tools for fighting other wrestlers, judoka's because his up close striking game is brutal and he has monstrous strength in the clinch. Those are places Anderson controls, because he controls the distance in fights. The way to beat Anderson Silva is by taking him to the ground, or hitting the lottery and catching him by countering his counter. He has the advantage because he can initiate from the outside with his long reach and anticipate what his opponent is going to do off of that, then counter. If you stand in front of him and try to counter him, he will circle, look for angles and surprise you lol. He did it to Vitor who's striking game is probably the closest to Andersons as far as how dangerous he is and his ability to finish instantly. Vitor is one special, dynamic left handed striker. For Anderson to handle him like that is testament to his abilities on the outside. Weidman doesn't have a great shot for a takedown, he's got a good one, but not great. It's going to be very hard for him to set anything up vs. Anderson because his strengths are nullified by Silva's fighting strengths due to Silva's superb ability to fight outside.. As I've already explained several times now buddy. Of course, I could be wrong and anything can happen in a fight. This is just how my reasoning works and how I anticipate the matchup.
