You think he quite entirely because of his wrist?

I think he quit because the way the fight was going he was going to be knocked out. And the fight was going the way it was because he couldn't punch or defend himself. And he couldn't punch or defend himself because of his wrist. :good

Also, the part where he was probably in incredible pain.

Multiple boxers have come out to say they have fought with broken wrists or worse etc etc. It's an excuse.

Gonzalez was more than capable of switch-hitting and only had to survive the last 3 rounds to get at least a draw. If he nicked any of those three rounds he would have won the fight.

He lacked the heart and stamina required and was shown up by Burns in the end.

You can break your hand and not even notice, and you can break your hand and be in excruciating pain.

Burns was coming on strong and Gonzalez didn't have what it takes to keep him off one-handed. He would have gotten knocked out. Tough break.

I like how it's the guy who couldn't fight well while one of his weapons was broken that's getting ****, not the guy who couldn't fight well period.

Ray Charles could see Gonzalez gassed, Since when does hurting your hand equate to stumbling around the ring like a drunken mess. He's getting **** cause he quit in his stool.

I saw none of this stumbling you speak of. Although breaking a bone can cause shock, which would explain that. And Ray Charles was blind. You DKSAB.

I was in the Arena tonight and Gonzalez slowed noticeably in the 8th and 9th rounds nothing to do with his "Wrist injury" he folded and gassed when Ricky took his best and came back at him he's used to fighting bums who fold the minute he lands those big shots on them he's never had someone smile at him and come back with shots of his own and he didn't like it tonight.

Also, I think that Chelo mentally blew it. His team was pissed at him, they know their fighter better than anyone and whether he was capable of continuing or not.

    :deal

But we really don't know. Most people should STFU about Gonzalez's "heart" until we know more details.
