Foreman some of his wins in his comeback were overrated, but his jab was always underrated.

Mag good call, Turbo was good as well. It`s easy to overlook Hearns sometimes because of all those Ko`s via that booming right hand. But he had a very sharp jab and he`d even shoot it down to the belly with equal effectiveness to. Overall, I have to go with Holmes, His was sharp and heavy.it had a ton of snap on it as well...

There were a lot of good jabbers. I even wanted to say Hagler. Virgil Hill is another one. Delahoya had such a fast sharp jab and quick.

Holmes & Ali were standouts - particularly for heavyweights.

    Going back further, Benny Leonard.

Hagler's jab was my favourite it was like most people's right cross. He could double it and triple it and each punch would land with the same authority.

Hagler could certainly deliver with both hands. Part of the reason he was able to switch so effectively, and for rounds at a time.

Hagler had that unique punch where if the guy was not in a position to punch, Hagler would leap in with the right jab.

Duran had a good feinting jab that was important for his whole game.

Leonard in their second fight negated it, Hearns with his way bigger reach could negate it.
If you were too big or too fast for Duran to use his jab effectively you were on the road to victory.
At lightweight how many are there that would be able to negate that jab? Don't think many if they are there.

Don't know if he belongs to be mentioned here.
Tyson for his size also had a formidable jab but his short reach did put a big limit on it, though he showed he could jab with big men in the Tucker fight

Also I don't think you can make a top 5 jab lists because different jabs have different purposes, too many purposes you can't compare Holmes with a guy like Hagler.
