Both times floyd has fought at 154 he has looked less than impressive. If floyd feels he no longer good enough to compete at 154 then that's fine, campaign at 147. But don't ask Canelo to join u there.

People laughing at 20 pound difference have no idea what a huge advantage that is especially at 154 where u have to fight with pillows on ur fists.

    Not my picks, man.

I'm confident in a lot of my picks, although some names come under the 'could' category.

Floyd just respects Canelo's abilities. I don't blame him.The kid is talented. Wouldn't YOU want to be at your very best if you're going to fight him? Learn from examples from the past. Dawson went down to meet Ward and got crushed. Lopez went up to see Canelo and go flattened. Fighters should know where they're most comfortable and stay there. As it's been mentioned, Floyd should give up his title and focus on 147 if he won't fight Canelo at LMW. If they end up fighting at welterweight and Floyd wins, I won't give him credit for beating a drained Canelo.

They're from two different weight classes. Smaller guy has a right to stay where he's most comfortable. Hopefully we can move on (although that's probably wishful thinking). Plenty of other good fights for Canelo at 154.

Why the need to protect Floyd ?

Where was the concern when Mosley fought Alvarez ?

How come opponents are fine for other boxers the same size but poor lil floyd needs saving?
This guys supposed to be the best in the world, yet needs stipulations that others have no issues with ?

    This is pathetic

Hes said he wants to defend his 154 title.

Why bring his mandatory down to 147?

also can i just say this is a dumb ass thread. Its basically saying its difficult to pick any fighter in history to beat floyd from 130 to 147.

Rediculous. JLC beat Floyd on most peoples score cards and he isn't even an ATG at 130.

at least i can brag, at how i called it from the start. floyd will never fight a serious threat.

Alvarez isn't even a serious threat. Maybe a 60/40 in favour of floyd. Floyd won't pick a fight unless he's at least a 5 to 1 favourite.

Its embarrasing and more people, Media and fans should call him on it, and not just worship everything the man does.

He ducked alvarez to fight Ghost, and people claim him to be the greatest of all time.

    Embarrasing
