I was ringside and I had Gonzalez winning every round up to the 8th, when Burns came back into it. Gonzalez was landing the cleaner shots and his movement, variation, and defence was superior to Burns as well.

Ricky appeared over anxious. The 8 months he had out clearly told. The occasion, the crowd, the expectation - for me it was evident that it all got to him by the way he kept trying to force the issue. He couldn't get his distance and ended up over reaching with his shots, which Gonzalez countered effectively.

But he won. He did what champions do and reached deeper into the well than his opponent. He broke Gonzalez's heart in the 7th, no doubt, and remains a worthy world champion.

No fighter can win handsome each time out. Being able to win ugly is a strength in itself.

Bellew has his Team Matchroom tee-shirt on when he is tweeting about any of the Matchroom fighters.

It is a culture that is top down at Sky, I can remember an interview that Barney Francis gave in Boxing Monthy were he criticised Froch for not supporting fellow British fighters such as Khan etc. It is utterly pointless having a Matchroom fighter on the Sky panel for fight night, all he will do is served up platitudes about the Matchroom fighter on the card. Froch guilty as anyone for this.

My issue with CHB is that they allowed that ***** to get involved, and she was the whole reason they had to start that forum in the first place. I think its perfectly fair to not want to post on a forum where the woman who made fun of my mum having cancer is allowed to post and advertise her **** radio show. there were also a couple of pages in there Choi thread where they were taking the **** out of me. im all for banter but when im not around to defend myself that a bit pathetic.

but i think thats the first time i have ever said anything negative about that forum on here.

it is true though. most of the guys who spent years claiming Bellew to me a cross between Mayweather & Lennox Lewis migrated over to there.

What a *****. Her radio show is crap, she has a boring voice for radio and sound quality was ****. Rumsfield was the strong link in that partnership, at least he could talk about boxing with enthusiasm and did some good stuff, especially with Manny Steward and history of heavyweights.

I don't agree with the second part - most of them have been merciless about Bellew since the Chilemba fight. Plenty of his fanclub are still here too.

RE: Jenna, fair enough if she came out with stuff. That's awful for anyone to say to another human being. Didn't see that in the Choi thread as far as I recall, but it's always the danger of being outspoken or a character on a forum - which you undoubtedly are!
