You're right I have never boxed in competition, but I have boxed before and have picked up a lot of knowledge from Trainers, I have also lost weight to get to a certain weight. I never said moving up or down is 'easy'. I said its Easier to go up rather than down, because as with fighters they reach their prime weight most of the time, to cut out further pounds after they have dropped the weight is more difficult than putting on weight.

dont see what the big deal is really. canelo has fought there before, hes young, why not move down and challenge mayweather. canelo is probably the only fighter in boxing to refuse this, just dont be a fatboy and blow up to 200 pounds

Apparently Canelo tried to negotiate to meet in the middle, which would have been fair. This is the kind of fight catch-weights are made for. 147 is unreasonable.
