I'm a big fan of Rigo and Mares. They are high on my P4P list. But I can apply the same bull**** to them.

Examples:

Mares should've fought Mikey Garcia. Instead he fought a journeyman in PDL.

Rigo has only one good win. Won't fight Mares at 126. Rigo is ducking Leo Santa Cruz (or basically name any fighter Rigo hasn't fought)

I agree 100%.

Floyd looks brilliant in all his fights, but he always manages to slime his way out of the true tough challenges.

But to be fair he doesnt need to do, he has plenty of fans media and even highly respected people in boxing that are happy to proclaim him the GOAT.

Its crazy, the guy hasn't beaten a single ATG in his prime!

 

Why should Mayweather fight someone that's obviously much bigger than him.

the real question is, after floyd beats canelo at 154... who are the floyd haters gonna say hes ducking next? ward? hopkins? hell the klits? its never ending. the guy fights p4p fighters on the reg and never gets any credit what so ever.

 

Canelo come down 4 lbs, floyd come up 3.

 

But he's not too small. If there was another big money fight that he could be a 6 to 1 favourite, like another cotto, he'd fight there.

But cos the person everyone wants him to fight is legitimate, he hides behind being too small!

If canelo moved up to 160, then there happened to be another shitty but markatable beltholder like a kirkland, then expect him to bounce back up again.

 

This fight doesn't need a catchweight. Mayweather has beat better fighters two times before at the super welter limit
