Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

For me, the earliest I'd want the fight is in November/December of 2014 after Khan has 2 fights at WW, with at least one being a top 5-7-ish WW.

It better not happen next fight, and if it happens in Spring '14 then Khan's one win before then better be something great against a top notch WW.

 

Maywether would end Khan's career. Make the fight. It would be a highlight reel KO.

 

of course it would be ok. this would be the first time floyd takes on his most obvious threat in many years. that argument about "people will just say hes ducking someone else", is a bunch of horse****. for the longest time it was manny and now its canelo, only those 2 have seriously been considered a serious threat worthy of a superfight. you can blame whoever you want, but the fact is, floyd just dont want to find out how he really compares to the best in his era, much less other eras.

There is no way Floyd fights Alexander. Who the hell is gonna buy that crap? Showtime isnt stupid, either he is gonna fight Canelo on September 14th or he is going to sitout till 2014.

 

Less of a problem than I currently do. It's still a **** fight.

Khan gets ktfo by any semi-decent WW.(Berto, Guerrero, Ortiz Alexander etc..)

 

Mayweather-Khan means two joke fights for Mayweather in a row. I'd rather see Alvarez-Mayweather next but that won't happen. They will most likely save it for May next year or never.

 

Which is why they will most likely look to rush him against Mayweather.

 

Khan has less of chance vs. Floyd than the Ghost did. It is a fight that must never happen.

 

If he already beat Alvarez I guess i wouldn't mind seeing this fight
