lol why would u ever think that someone can be persuaded that this is a factor? lol fanboy **** at its least mature. Floyd can very well be defended in this situation, but keep it real. Youre just plucking anything out ur ass that u **** out. Where a fighter fought in his very last fight doesnt mean a thing and I dont think youre so stupid or so novice that u dont realise it.
got stripped from that title already bruh.. what ammo u got now? :hi: but on a serious note.., people are getting wet over something that aint even official
Ok. I accept it on that point. But whether Pac or Roach asked for it was ancillary to my main point, which was that Pacquiao was talking about ANY future fights (not just martinez) cause it was already pre-established that Pac cant handle 150+, and so they never even bothered with negotiations. Floyd has not pre-established this, and it seems his team is beginning negotiations with Canelo soon.
Seen ****. "We have considered several options, and none of them are being discarded and we could even could make a fight at 124 pounds - if any of the top 126-pounders think he can defeat Rigondeaux. We spoke to Rigondeaux's training team and they believe that stepping up to the featherweight division would be giving away too many advantages and the option of 124 seems more realistic to try to balance the weight advantages. The challenge is open to all, and to everyone who believes they can make that weight - call Caribe Promotions and let's start negotiations" WBO/WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (12-0, 8KOs) says there is no interest in moving up in weight to pursue a fight with Abner Mares, who last Saturday stopped Daniel Ponce De Leon for the WBC featherweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Rigondeaux is fresh from his twelve round unanimous decision win over Nonito Donaire. "Absolutely not [I am not moving up]. I plan to stay at 122-pounds," Rigondeaux told George Ebro. "It's just that I'm naturally a 122-pounder. I eat and eat, but do not get fat. Thank God I do not spend my time suffering to make weight like other fighters. So I have no reason to leave the division in which I have proved my qualifications and in which I feel the most comfortable." "Whoever is in my division, whoever has the titles, whoever wants them...let me know. I'm here. I think there are plans to make a fight in Miami, my people are talking to Top Rank to see what they can do." "Absolutely not. I stay at 122. Gary Hyde says about a thousand things that he shouldn't speak about without asking me and makes decisions for me without consulting with me.'' http://www.elnuevoherald.com/2013/05...#storylink=cpy
As you could see from the other thread, that was premature. He's still the WBA Super champ at 154. So much sadness over a non strippage http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/may...hamp-canelo-or-wbawbo-champ-rigondeaux-194628
It's exactly as I said in the other thread: If Rigo was Floyd,he'd be ducking Garcia as well as most of the featherweight division. Would throwing out "CW or no fight", and staying at 122 to fight the Quigg's and Frampton's because he's comfortable there even be remotely acceptable? He's A G and more skilled than Floyd though. :rofl Poor little Quigg n ****. NOW, if all this Reynoso **** is true about 147 then I'll be just as disappointed as expressed, but we haven't heard ****. Look at the Official Statements above. :conf :conf :deal Has any single person criticized Rigo for staying at his most comfortable weight?
no sadness on my part dude.. :good i definitely don't have no fear in this fight happening and him still being champ only makes it more of a possibility of happening..
Rehydration clause no higher than 10 pounds seems reasonable. The fight at 147 pounds is pointless. And, no need for a catchweight.
Why are you Floyd haters still wasting time arguing about floyd asking for a rehydration clause ? Its pretty got dame obvious why any fighter, not just Floyd would ask for a stipulation like this from a fighter who gains 20 to 25 lb in 24 hrs .. Anyone with half a brain can see why Floyd would ask for such a clause , that it is perfectly with in reason.
