According to Manny, he'd been sick of it for a while. Of course Arum could have influenced him, we don't know.

Of course I hold him responsible, but Floyd started this whole charade.

They were both responsible. They both have huge ego's, and in the end I believe it became a point scoring battle.

But nobody else has had an issue fighting Manny, and I think it was unacceptable for Manny to be labelled as a cheater with no proof.

I agree, I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it.

    Best part of your link:

And now he's totally onboard with the 'funny and stupid' idea.

Guess that right hand from Marquez changed his mind. :nut

Ash, go away, we've had the same debate a hundred times.

    Ok, just for you.

Manny's name WASN'T dragged through the mud during the initial negotiations, but it had been BEFORE, and it was again AFTER!

    Which is why he sued.

    Are you happy now?

Ok, I respect your opinion on this.

But the circumstances are obviously very different now with Rios, than what they were 4 years ago.

One thing you, and everyone else, has to ask themselves is who are the winners and the losers out of all of this?

    Losers:

Pac, this whole ordeal made him look bad. whether you believe in one of the stories that was made up then and now or make up one of your own. In the minds of many there will now be some doubt. Half of the boxing world will blame him for the fight not happening. Plus, he lost out on a record high payday. hurts his legacy

Floyd: Record High payday, half the fans will blame him, hurts his legacy

    Winners:

TR: gets Pac to double dip and makes even more off of him because the fight did not happen

GB: Similar to TR but Floyd could end the arrangement at almost anytime.

the answer to the question is follow the money . . . TR wins all the way around

not really, this is just another contract Nego.

As a fan of Pacs, like all true fans, should be saying . . . man just take the test.

as a fan of floyds I said, comeback and fight shane, fight Cotto, now fight Serg (before his last fight), fight cinnamon! the one thing I realize about Floyd he could fight Jesus and people would say the guy is over 2000 years old.

I cannot believe how anyone could not see how this makes Pac look bad:bart

Sir, please pay attention to what I actually highlighted.

What 'system' do you think he's talking about it is 'funny and stupid to change' and 'has been set for decades now'?

    Great post! :good:good

This is very true. the worst thing Pac can do now is want testing because that means he just didnt want to do it in 2009. THAT MEANS IT WAS A STRAIGHT DUCK!! Mayweather had it all set up. agreed to everything just to make the fight, made the scarfices!! took 50-50, whatever golves, had a superbowl interview even lined up to promote the fight and Pac didnt take a test like all althletes take!?!?!?!?!

This to me showed the whole team ducked the fight. It already sounded like it was a duck when Roach says march is to early becuase I need a tleast 6 months to gameplan for Mayweather. I'll never forget that interview, i'll see if i can find it

    December 2009...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGd8r7G7Mxo

You have yet to acknowledge this...you claim the "damage" had been done "BEFORE any negotiations" yet here you have Roach stating definitively that Blood Testing wasn't an issue (he refers to it as Olympic style drug testing)...negotiations are in progress at this point, and no mention of "damage".
