Maussa won the WBA, not the WBC.

    no it's not.

Hatton was the champ at LWW after beating Tzsyu (a fighter who would have ****ed Cotto's world) then unified against Maussa. then he stepped up to WW and beat Collazo. then fought a dangerous puncher in Urango. then he fought Castillo. then back up to WW to fight the very best in Mayweather.

and you think he avoided Cotto? try again.

oh, and Hatton left Wa55en after the Tzsyu fight.

So yeah he fought Maussa who Cotto had already beat, instead of Cotto. Like I said, avoided.

Cotto will be KO before the start of the fight if he gets down to 140lbs. Useless thread

Ugh, just shows the steady decline of skills in the sport as of recent. I remember thinking Cotto was still a bit green at 140 and didn't really hold up to other greats at the weight class, but still solid. I knew he was only getting better. The current lot at 140, kind of pitiful compared to previous years.

Yeah. They say a new ATG Superstar always comes along, but I'm getting worried. If not for the very best up and comers, for the contender-gate-keeper levels. The hierarchy weakens if yesterday's gatekeepers are today's champions. It's not that dramatic for every division but on the eye test, the skills are diminishing. Fighters are less complete than they were.
