Life is not fair with this being the exception with Floyd offering a fighter who was yet to take a main PPV event headline. So in this case Floyd is being too nice and too fair by offering to fight the 154 who shows up at 184 on most fights the biggest fight of his young career.

I'm not trying to justify anything. I want the fight. If anything you appear to be the one who's in just about every mayweather thread talking **** about posters who say anything that's not anti-Floyd. All I'm saying is people look at Floyd differently when he hasn't done anything far different than what fighters in the past have done. He's moving to a weight class that's most comfortable for him - same thing Roy and Pac did. Floyd definitely needs to relinquish his LMW title if he hasn't already.

Hatton looked **** in his fight, somehow it is already forgotten than Hatton was lucky to get that nod against Collazo.

Floyd has proven himself capable of competing at 154 beating Cotto with no catchweights, and now why not fight Canelo?

Come to think of it. Floyd is ranked by most as the best P4P and the best at 154. Canelo fighting him is still a problem?

Yet Hatton who is at a top dog at 140, not even top 5 at 147, is a great win for Floyd? Why didn't he fight other top dogs at 147 during that time?

 

Hatton just isn't very good.

The win looks okay on paper but Hatton had no business in the ring with Pac/Mayweather, he was not even close to their level.

 

Bazooka doesn't want the fight, he wants it to remain as is so he has something to **** and moan about. He knows that if the fight gets made, regardless of weight, Floyd will find a way to win and when he does, he'll have nothing to ***** about (only in theory because then it will be some other "bad ass" that Floyd is ducking). That said I do want the fight, and I want it at 154, but it's not my call.

This is exactly what I have been saying. Hatton moves up one division, and he got dragged, whil idiots completely overlook that Floyd started at 130. I didn't hear anyone crying about Oscar "dragging" floyd up to 154.

 

Most people think that Floyd has looked his worst in his two fights at 154. they harp on the fact that he eeked out a close SD win against DLH, and that he took way more punishment then usual from Cotto, and that he just doesn't look good at the weight.

 

Did anyone not think before the fight it wasn't a foregone conclusion that Mayweather wasn't gonna win? I just look at it like if Garcia or Alexander fought him now.

 

Don't forget he 'ducking' middleweights like Sergio and GGG too.
