    LOL..

I remember him wanting to fight Manny at 154 saying he's not gonna fight at 147 ever. But when he saw Canelo being a threat, he immediately went down to 147 and looking to fight guys like Garcia, Alexander, Khat etc.. Lmao at this so called p4p #1

Dragged Hatton to 147 - unproven weight
Fought a bloated lightweight in Marquez
Fought a shot Cotto at his worst weight 154
Fought Guerrero who's an unproven welter
Ortiz damaged at 140 needed sucker punch to win

    U mad?

Pac tried to get Martinez @ 147, rehydration clause @ 150. ROFL

Cherry picked 39 year old Marquez twice and failed both times

Oscar 147 (A weight he hasn't fought at in 8 years)

    Cotto 145

    Margarito 150

David Diaz ROFL. Paper champ, worst champ at that weight class.

    Bradley 147 (Unproven weight)

Hatton after he was already crushed by May.

    I can do it too.

at least PAC is acceptable since he started 112 and weigh 130 2 fights before Delahoya fight. PAC is the one doing a favor by fighting bigger guys.. He's one of the smallest welterweight champ we've seen.

Marquez fight does not count since they both fought before and they basically the same size..

Shouldn't the Pacquiao incident have taught you guys anything? Roach was the only guy who claimed Mayweather wanted to fight Pacquiao at 154. They agreed to fight at 147. In fact everything was agreed to and ready to go, and then Team Pacquiao balked on the drug testing. Canelo's trainer is the only guy claiming Mayweather wants to fight at 147. If Mayweather was dead set on that, negotiations would've been called off by now. I hope Mayweather fights him at the JMW limit. However, he has the clout to get a catch weight, and that may end up happening.

No one but Roach ever said that BS about Floyd wanting to fight Pac at 154, you guys are ****ing idiots. Remember, this is the same Roach who was caught on tape saying Pac wanted Floyd at a catchweight. :deal

No one said the guy wasn't a double talker and a hypocrite. I'm just being realistic here. He has the clout to get a catch weight. Not many people in the media would criticize him, and casual fans won't care. Personally, I don't think there should be a catch weight. It's certainly a possibility though.

why would he want the 154 pound champion at 147. This is like Leonard/Lalonde, Rays worst thing he did in his career.

I am extremely disappointed in this decision, but I hold out hope it's a marketing tactic. With that said, I've heard more than one pro trainer claim that Canelo is a big dude and he should come down to Floyd's weight class.

Damn *******s ... But it's OK to demand DLH fight at 147 even though he was way past his prime and had been basically campaigning as middleweight at his age. Canelo hasn't even fought at middleweight. I guess it's OK for Manny to drain his fighters and claim it as one of his LEGACY victories. Heaven forbid Mayweather ask the same of a much younger, more powerful guy than DLH was when Pac fought him. Canelo is 22! If he can't make 147, the guy needs to lay off on the HGH.
