looks like you threw your favourites together and tossed in some oldies to look somewhat knowledgeable
I'd love to know what charteristics you look for that armstrong doesn't have, but Mayweather, Tyson and Frazier Do :rofl
Harsh, but fair. If Armstrong had held the middleweight and light-heavy titles at the same time as the other 3, he'd have a decent shout for the top 25. If Greb had beaten Dempsey and Wills and cleaned out the heavyweight division, he would have achieved a lasting greatness. As it was, I don't think he beat enough Hall of Famers to rank alongside the true all-time greats :deal
Definitely agree with that as well. Charles was great no doubt, but I don't think he did enough in his career to demonstrate that he was better than Moore.
It's almost impossible to leave Hammering Hank out of a Top 5 list, let alone a top 25 list. Look at his resume to understand how great that man was. He held multiple titles at different weight classes SIMULTANEOUSLY. And Harry Greb is a Top 15 fighter worse case scenario (He's easily in my top 10.) Look at the amount of fights that guy had, and how many HOF'ers he beat. He constantly beat up on great fighters who were much bigger than him. Ever heard of the great Gene Tunney? Greb had his way with him, a man who was exponentially larger than Greb. Also, you can't leave out Duran on a top 25 list, that guy has one of the most remarkable resumes in boxing history.
