Surely the Foch fight is worth £15 alone!

For me to buy a PPV I think of it like this, what if Froch/Kessler gets cut in the first round and the fight has to be stopped, at least with a decent undercard you will still feel like you have got your moneys worth despite the main event being cack, as it stands with this PPV if one of them do get cut, you just spunked away £15 for nothing.

Sorry you do get for £15 to see the barnstormer full of fireworks rematch between Bellew and Chilemba, that should soften the blow.

I would want a good undercard because I won't be watching the champions leauge final, I will be watching the boxing.

It's not a con its a marketing ploy, imagine how many pissed up lads will buy the fight after its hyped up during the champs league final. Loads. And no need to do a long undercard as it won't start properly until after the footy and the drunk buggers will be passed out by 1.

I know its the Champions league final but I think people are wildly overestimating the interest in two German teams competing and the potential to market to that audience.

I'd pay £15 just for Froch v Kessler
I would have paid £200+ to watch it live if I could have got the tickets

Maybe, most fans I've spoken to are really looking forward to it. People are showing Dortmund a lot of love. Obviously would be bigger with a British team in there, but it is still the Champs League final, mixed in with a weeks worth of Sky News whoring the fight, it will sell well I feel.

if we get the advertised fights at the advertised price then nobody can say it's a con.

However, this doesn't seem to be particularly good value for money. Froch v Kessler is a very good fight, but neither man is the best SMW in the world, and I wouldn't say it's worth £15 on it's own.

For PPV to work you need a cracking undercard in my opinion. If the main event doesn't deliver, and you have a **** undercard then you'll go away feeling ripped off and won't want to pay again in the future.

Bellew v Chilemba was pretty poor first time round, and seeing as Tony has no problem stinking a venue out these days then I can't get too excited about this rematch. As for Groves, this could be a decent fight I suppose but if his recent opponents are anything to go by, then it probably won't.

I know how much Eddie is considered to be the saviour of British boxing, and he may well be, but all I know is I've been getting outstanding value for money on Boxnation recently. In one night we got Khan v Diaz, Garcia v Judah and Martinez v Murray all included in a £10 monthly subscription.

By comparison this PPV is really **** value for money.
