I would like to see him stand back-to-back with that trophy. I'm sure it's taller than he is...

...and probably has 20 pounds on him as you said :good

Jock McAvoy a TOP middleweight competing just as successfully against Top L-HWs & HWs... his American middleweight peers didn't!

Another vote for Maricano. He was once outweight in the ring as much 70 pounds. KO'ed the guy in the first round.

Pernell Whitaker. At 5'6" and fighting with a style that caused him to duck and slip alot he dominated the lightweight division from 87-91 before moving up to welter.

    Ezzard Charles is another example

    Pac?

unless you think he dominated Welterweight(and he hsa not had nearly enough fights there for that) then he's a hilariously bad choice.

Thought that was a bit of a wierd one aswell - and to be honest I don't know that Tyson was a small man in his division when he dominated in the 80's?? In fact I always go the impression he was always the physically bigger bulkier guy in there against these most of the 80's guys he decimated? He always looked miles bigger physically? I know he packed more weight into his 5'9" frame than Trevor Berbick did into his 6'3" one? I'm pretty sure Tyson again at 5'9" weighed pretty much the same as the 6'5" Toney Tucker, obviously he was naturally a bigger guy than Michael Spinks also and I think physically again he was packing more weight per square inch than the likes of Pinky and Tyrell - I'd say he physically dominated guys because he was physically bigger and more powerful generally? Even more so in his days as a contender pre Berbick when a lot of his opponents looked to be verging on light heavyweights
