LOL agreed. He's not a #1. Floyd is a great fighter though, and i think he could at least hold his own against (if not potentially beat) anyone in history at his weight.

Kalambay far too high. Getting sparked in 1 isn't the best look.

Based on your criterion, I have to take issue with Benny Leonard, Ricardo Lopez, and Nicolino Locche. All three are obviously great fighters, but to place them among the 25 best ever, there's just no case.

Locche and Leonard, i'l admit, are interesting inclusions. There is also talk to be had about Tyson and Charles. But Lopez is an OK inclusion. At what he did, he looked perfect, and there was a lot of it.

Locche looks amazing to me but I probably could be persuaded to drop him.

    B. Leonard is a definite, he's in my top 10 actually.

Lopez looks incredible and is going nowhere.

Tyson is a force of nature at his best and has to be in there.

Charles is a difficult one, looks good on the glimpses we have (walcott 2, valentino, marshall 2, louis) combine that with the reports of earlier fights of his and I feel comfortable having him up there, much more so than having locche in.

This list is way better than ESB's official list at least.

If one of the best means one of the top 200 boxers ever then yes.

He looks amazing at what he does, but is he even in the top 100 by eye on offence?
How do you think he would do against Duran and Whitaker? Pretty well?

I've never seen him look like one of the best twenty-five fighters in history in a hard fight. In all his hard fights he looks diminished.

I think Mayweather looks better than HW Charles.
