That's Floyd's best win. A past prime ODLH.

Guess who beat, Pernell Whitaker, Julio Cesar Chavez twice, Hector Camacho.

    You have no argument bro.

Mayweather's best name is Marquez who was not in his prime weight, and Jose Luis Castillo who is not as good as the names on Oscar's resume.

Whitaker was only slightly past his prime also.

There were a lot of prime fighters who Oscar dismantled.

Of course he'll be rated higher. Comparing resume Oscar > Floyd. Best wins Floyd is either Coralles or Cotto. Oscars best wins pretty much **** any of Floyds. And if you don't know who Oscars best wins are slap yourself in the face.

All 3 who were past primed, as well. Mayweather beat oscar at 154, he was a light weight who had two fights at JMW and skipped WW, and had every disadvantage against in the contract. Hoya on the other hand, along with fighting them past prime, and arguably losing to Whitaker, completely dwarfed them, as Oscar was big, and had every advantage against them besides whitakers defense. Trinidad showed how to beat a past prime fighter, when he be beat whitaker, who Hoya was dropped by.

But no doubt they were atgs, and the Mayweathers victory over Oscar is a few notches below oscars 'victory" over Whitaker. The problem with Oscar is that most believe he loss to Whitaker, Quartey, and Strum... he makes up for 2 controversial victories with the 2nd mosley and Trinidad fights which he clearly won imo.

In a mood to defend Oscar today a little.

'Mayweather beat Oscar at 154' - Props to Mayweather, but Oscar was a blown up light middleweight anyway and he was 3/4 years removed from prime. That's that settled.

Whitaker beat an even bigger fighter in the great future hall of famer Julio Cesar Vasquez, when we're talking Whitaker, we're talking a Top 20 ATG who was one of the most skilled fighters ever (in Top 5). Whitaker being slightly past prime is still an impressive feat for Oscar to be evenly matched, IMO Oscar had the upperhand in that fight.

Whitaker wasn't past prime when he fought Trinidad, he was shot.

Trinidad had dropped Oscar...what about the fact that Trinidad had a 35-0 record with 30KO's at the time of the Oscar fight, and what about the fact that Oscar outlanded Trinidad by 100 punches?

Most do not believe that Oscar lost the fight to Whitaker, unless they're HUGE fans of Whitaker..I'm a huge fan of Whitaker, Oscar won the fight IMO.

Sturm was already explained in a previous post on this thread.
